Google Earth

Google earth enables students to see images from different parts of the earth with ability to overlay streets/roads with latitude. Using google earth in speech pathology is limited. Google earth can be used as an engagement tool to keep patietns interested. Patients would search a country or town and then pronounce the name of the country they are searching and also read out the names of streets and the latitude and longitude of the location. This little exercise keeps it interesting because patients can view the names they are pronoucing.
