WikiPedia ia an online encyclopedia that allowes anyone to contribute but also has a set of tight guidelines and rules. As a resource it is quick, exhaustive and easy reference that allows people to develop background knowledge in subject area. In speech pathology it would be good to recommend to patients and their family if they want to understand what something is, for example a part of the bran or the meaning of a word.
