Animations & Simulations

Uses of Animations & Simulations in Speech Pathology

Specalists can use Animations and Simulations to:
  • show animations of the human anatomy instead of textbooks, for example different parts of the brain light up explaining what they do and how they affect speech
  • show animations of swallowng, eating and drinking performed normally and with impairments
  • help patients and their families understand their condition, they are shown animations of how the brain or swallowing has effected their speech
